Janet McMurphy
Membership and Legislative Chair

My name is Janet Brice McMurphy from Biloxi, MS. . I am serving as your legislative and membership chairperson this year. Based on my past experience lobbying to stop perceptorship in our state, I realize the importance of a numbers(members) at the state level. Unfortunately, only 10% of us are members of ADHA. Having ADHA to back us in our legislative battles is essential in our success. I graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, School of Health Related Professions just yesterday. I work in general dentistry and have been at my present job for 17 years now. My husband, Tim, and I have been married for 28 yearsand have 2 sons, Brice, 21, and Austin, 19. They attend LSU and are majoring in biological sciences with aspirations of going to dental school. May as well keep it all in the family as my brother is Dr. Buddy Brice, a pediatric dentist in Biloxi.
Kit R Stilley, ADHA Delegate
Kit Stilley
Delegate to ADHA

Kit Stilley is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University (BS) and Old Dominion University (MS) and has been teaching in the dental hygiene program at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, for fifteen years. Prior to moving to Mississippi, she had wonderful experiences as a clinical dental hygienist in general and periodontal practices and as a contract hygienist with the US Navy. Kit has held various different offices at the component and state levels in Delaware, California, Virginia, and Mississippi. She is privileged to serve with such a great MDHA Board this year and to represent Mississippi at ADHA Annual Session, New Orleans, June 07 and Albuquerque, June 08. If every hygienist in Mississippi joins ADHA/MDHA this year, Mississippi could send 13 -15 delegates June 2008. Let’s go for it!
